Dear Parents,
We are proud to announce that 2010-11 school year, will be the fourth year that Karate Atlanta will be instructing your children in the art of Tae Kwon Do at New Life Academy of Excellence. We are a member of the American Taekwondo Association with over 1,500 locations worldwide. Our overall mission this year will be to establish a true understanding in the art of Taekwondo. Our curriculum is designed to teach children respect, confidence, discipline, and focus. Therefore, you can expect your child to receive better grades in academics and in conduct. We teach two forms of self-defense. Physically, your child will improve his or her strength, flexibility and overall health. Additionally, your child will learn to strike with power, speed and effectiveness. The second form of self-defense that we teach is the mental side. Children learn to spot danger and avoid dangerous people, places and activities. Taekwondo can actually help your child avoid the need for a physical confrontation.
Children are required to wear the appropriate uniform for class. To be fitted and purchase a uniform stop by the Taekwondo School on one of the following dates: Thursday, May 27th 11am-2pm; Tuesday June 1st 6-8pm; Sat June 19th from 12-2pm or Sat July 10th 12-2.
