We would like to take this opportunity to welcome each of you and your families to New Life Academy of Excellence (NLAE). As the School Wide Community Council (SWCC)  Team members, it is our responsibility to talk with you about getting involved in the school. But first, since this is the first time at NLAE for many of you, we think that it is important to explain what the SWCC is all about.

We hope that you can find the time to become an active and involved member of our school community. Studies have shown that when parents get involved in their children’s education, grades go up, test scores increase, there are fewer discipline problems and children are more likely to succeed in their future academic endeavors. Parents are welcome to attend our SWCC meetings on the following dates, which can help them understand the role of SWCC in supporting the school.
