Meet Mr. Chang! (Grade Level Lead)

I am thoroughly excited to be your child's second grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. First, I would love to share a little about myself. I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Georgia in 2014. I have since added an ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) Endorsement and a Gifted Endorsement to my teaching certificate. This will be my eleventh year teaching at New Life Academy of Excellence and my tenth year teaching second grade. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, exercising/playing football and basketball, watching sports (Go Dawgs, Go Denver Broncos, and Go Braves!), and spending time with my family and friends. It’s going to be an enjoyable year full of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I am looking forward to becoming close partners with all of you in order to increase your involvement within our classroom, so we can provide your child the best education. I will do my best to make this year a valuable one for your child.

Meet Ms. Coke!

I am a third year teacher who graduated from Georgia State University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I have two sisters and one brother. I also have two beautiful nieces and two nephews who I love to spend time with. On my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also like to try different restaurants and try new adventures like walking up Stone Mountain or going Water Rafting. I can't wait to learn more about you. Let's start off this year with a bang!!

Meet Ms. Standridge!
I have worked in education for over 10 years in Georgia Pre-K. When I graduated from Kennesaw State University, I wanted to move into elementary education. Now, I am in my fifth year here at New Life Academy of Excellence and ready to have a great year with your children. I am passionate about teaching and learning and strive to give my best to students, so they can be successful.
